I Will Not Be Afraid!

In Hebrew, Psalm 91 is referred to as "the song of plagues" (shir shel pega'im) and the one who recites it with faith in God will be helped by Him in time of danger.

"Under His wings I will find refuge...I will not be afraid of the terror by night or the arrows by day. Not the disease that prowls through the darkness, not the disaster that happens in the day. No harm will even graze me because God is my refuge! He orders His angels to watch over me wherever I go. He hears and answers my call. He rescues me because he loves and delights in me!"

AND It's still true!  Gods promises stand!

In these times when so many are seized with fear It is time for our faith to RISE UP and remember that God is still the same God who has rescued you before, And He CAN do it again!  It is our prayer at Cherished, that you, beloved and delighted by God, will find shelter and peace "under his wings"

What's your Story?

Over the years you have supported the women of Cherished and heard many of our stories... Now we want to know yours!! We are asking that you share with us your story! Why did you decide to partner with us (or want to if you haven't yet)?

You have a story that drew you to ours. Maybe you or someone you know has been trafficked or explored or harmed,  and it has caused you to care for survivors. Whatever moved your heart toward us we want to know! We would love to make the connection and know you better!

As the days of solitude and quarantine are among us, we wonder if you would take a few minutes and submit a story to us about why you were drawn to Cherished? We want to know your story!!
It might even be the very encouragement another needs that is looking for the courage to begin their own journey!

Submit "My Story: why I was drawn to Cherished" to cherishedhighdesert@gmail.com
Stories will not be shared or published without your permission.

We are so grateful for your loyalty and commitment to stand with us!

Blessings,
Kate
