The EXPOSED IMMERSIVE is inspired by Kate Ouimette-Wedell’s story in her newly released book EXPOSED: Surviving the Commercial Sex Industry. These artistic exhibits share survivors’ creativity, struggles, and strength in order to expose the truth about domestic sex trafficking.
THE CAGE
Representing a compelling aspect of Kate’s personal story of freedom and a powerful symbol of the liberation of survivors.
“WHERE I AM FROM”
A collection of poems that survivors have handwritten. Each poem is strikingly laid out to follow the pattern of their unique thumbprint.
A WALK IN HER SHOES
These podiums serve as solemn repositories, housing the sacred stories of survivors, recounted in their own unadorned voices and heartfelt words.
BEYOND THE PAGE - ART FROM EXPOSED
Images from EXPOSED, including Kate’s childhood, the life, and CherishedLA. Includes costume creations by Kori (Kate) for entertainers who danced at a night club in downtown LA.

This growing exhibit draws the viewer into a world of INTERACTIVE AI ART designed to inspire inner reflection.

We want to work with you to bring the traveling EXPOSED IMMERSIVE to your area! Through our interactive exhibits, your location will be transformed and invited guests will be lead into a world of powerful storytelling and reflection on domestic sex trafficking. The traveling exhibition rental can be brought to your area as a stand alone experience or in conjunction with a speaking appearance by survivor-leader Kate Ouimette-Wedell. Together with you we will work out the details for your event and the surrounding awareness campaign.
